Chai AI — Safety Center

Welcome to the Chai AI Safety Center. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. This page provides important information on how to stay safe on our platform, what content is not allowed, and where to get help if you need it.

What is Not Allowed on Chai AI?

We have strict rules to protect our community. Our End User License Agreement outlines in detail what content and behaviour is prohibited on Chai AI.

Tools to Keep You Safe

If you see something that breaks our rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, you have the power to stop it:

You can report any AI character or message directly within the app. Your reports are completely anonymous — the person who created the character will not know you reported them.

Safety Filters

You can enable safety filters in your settings to filter out mature content, blur explicit images, or block specific characters from your feed.

For Australians: The eSafety Commissioner

The eSafety Commissioner is Australia's independent regulator for online safety. Their job is to help protect Australians from severe online abuse and illegal content.

If you have reported a serious safety issue to us and you believe we have not resolved it properly, or if you want to make a complaint about our safety compliance, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the eSafety Commissioner.
